History: | Το συγκρότημα APURIMAC ξεκίνησε το 1983,όταν ακόμα η λατινοαμερικάνικη μουσική στην Ελλάδα ήταν «εξωτικό είδος».Το 1985 ηχογραφούν τον πρώτο τους δίσκο
«Χθες και σήμερα» με διασκευασμένα παραδοσιακά τραγούδια από τις Άνδεις. Το 1989
κυκλοφορεί ο δεύτερος δίσκος τους με τίτλο «Εκεί στις Μπραχάμες» με την φιλική συμμετοχή του Λουκιανού Κηλαηδόνη . Το 1997 η λατινοαμερικάνικη μουσική
συναντά τον ελληνικό λόγο, αφορμή μια σειρά από ινδιάνικα τραγούδια, που διασκευάζει ο Χάρης Κατσιμίχας. Στον δίσκο που ονομάστηκε «Μάνα γη» συμμετείχε και ο Π.Θαλασσινός και η Δάφνη Πανουργιά .Τον Ιούνιο του 2001 κυκλοφορεί ο δίσκος τους «Στις γειτονιές του νότου»

History: | Η ιστορία των Echo Tattoo ξεκινάει δέκα χρόνια πριν, όταν η Εύη Χασαπίδου αποχωρεί από τους No Man's Land, με τους οποίους είχε μέχρι τότε ηχογραφήσει ένα album ("Zalion") που είχε συγκεντρώσει αρκετά καλές κριτικές από τα ψυχεδελικά zines της εποχής. Μαζί με τον Πάνο Κουτσούνη, τη Γιούλα Καβούρη και τον Σπύρο Βελικα, το νέο σχήμα έγινε μέρος της αθναϊκής underground σκηνής, στην οποία τότε κυριαρχούσαν οι Last Drive. Με πολλές ομοιότητες με τα group των late 60s, με κομμάτια που βρίσκονταν μακριά από το να χαρακτηριστούν hits, και την καταπληκτική φωνή της Εύης Χασαπίδου - Watson, οι Echo Tattoo περίμεναν δύο ολόκληρα χρόνια ώσπου κάποια ανεξάρτητη να δει ότι υπάρχει "πιθανό μέλλον". Μιλάμε φυσικά για "διαφορετικές" ημέρες της ελληνικής μουσικής βιομηχανίας, όταν η λέξη συμβόλαιο δεν ακουγόταν και τόσο συχνά. Εν τέλει, το ντεμπούτο τους κυκλοφόρησε από τη Studio II και επίσης συγκέντρωσε αρκετά καλά σχόλια από κριτικούς και μουσικόφιλους, αν και του "έλειπε" η ...παραγωγή! Ολο και κάτι βέβαια κολλούσε και τα χρόνια περνούσαν χωρίς καμία εταιρία να ενδιαφέρεται πραγματικά για το δεύτερό τους βήμα. Επρεπε να κερδίσουν ένα διαγωνισμό το 1996 (SCYPE) με το "Over" για να τους υπογράψει η FM Records και να κυκλοφορήσει το "Room Of Toys" (1997), το άλμπουμ που τους έκανε ευρύτερα γνωστούης στο ελληνικό κοινό. Ηχογραφημένο και μιξαρισμένο σε 30 μόνο ημέρες, το άλμπουμ πήρε πολύ καλές κριτικές από όλα τα μουσικά έντυπα, αλλά ποτέ ουσιαστικά δεν είχε την τύχη να προσεχτεί από την εταιρία τους. Πέρασαν δύο χρόνια ώσπου να βρεθεί κάποιος διεθνής διανομέας και να κυκλοφορήσει σε ευρωπαϊκές χώρες. Σύμφωνα με τα όσα ισχυρίζονται οι ίδιοι οι Echo Tattoo, η πρώην εταιρία τους FM Records ζητά ποσοστά από μελλοντικές κυκλοφορίες τους, παρότι το συμβόλαιο έχει λήξει από τις 21 Μαίου του 1999, και παρότι ουδέποτε εκτίμησε το υλικό που είχε στα χέρια της, μάλλον γιατί δεν περιελάμβανε "hits". Προς το παρόν οι Echo Tattoo δουλεύουν πάνω στα νέα τους κομμάτια - Belong, Fear, Sad 29, Writer's Block, Stormy Weather κ.α.

History: | Το συνολο κρουστών Κρόταλα αποτελεί μια σύγχρονη άποψη για την εκτέλεση των παραδοσιακών κρουστών από την Ελλάδα και της γύρω περιοχές .Οι Βαγγέλης Καρίπης, Πέτρος Κούρτης και Ανδρέας Παπάς μουσικά τοποθετημένοι σε ένα γεωγραφικό χώρο με μακραίωνη παράδοση αλλά με επιρροές από την Ανατολή, τα Βαλκάνια, την Μεσόγειο και την Δύση εξερευνούν τους τρόπους, δρόμους και ρυθμούς της πιο αρχέγονης και άμεσης μουσικής έκφρασης, δίνοντας στα παραδοσιακα κρουστα ένα πλήθος νέων εκφραστικών δυνατοτήτων, ισορροπώντας ανάμεσα στην παράδοση και τον σύγχρονο ήχο, τον φορμαλισμό και τον αυτοσχεδιασμό.

Information: | Aπό το 1997 έχουν πραγματοποιήσει εμφανίσεις σε όλους τους χώρους της Aθήνας που φιλοξενούν Ethnik μουσικές (Αν Club, Αέρας, Φωνές, Palenque, Xαμάμ...κα). Επίσης έχουν διοργανώσει αλλά και συμμετάσχει σε πολλές συναυλίες και Beach partys σε πόλεις ανά την Eλλάδα (Δήμος Πειραιά, Αισχύλεια Ελευσίνα, Φεστιβάλ Κρουστών Λευκάδας, Τεχνόπολις στο Γκάζι, Nαύπακτος, Φεστιβαλ Κρούσης -Θέατρο Πέτρας κα..)

Comments: | Το ρεπερτόριο του έχει δύο πηγές έμπνευσης: - τους ρυθμούς και τα τραγούδια της Δυτικής Αφρικής με κρουστά ( Djembe,Doundouns) και έγχορδα ( Ngoni ) - και το Ελληνικό και Βαλκανικό ρεπερτόριο γιά Γκάιντες συνοδευμένο απο παραδοσιακά κρουστά (νταούλια, Νταχαρέδες, τουμπελέκια..).( Κάποιες μάλιστα Θεματικές συναυλίες τους είναι αφιερωμένες αποκλειστικά σ' αυτά, στην αυθεντική τους μορφή.)
