Comments: | Οι Drog-a-tek είναι μια μουσική κολεκτίβα με έδρα την Αθήνα, που δραστηριοποιείται μέσω ζωντανών εμφανίσεων, αυτοσχεδιαστικών πράξεων, ηχογραφήσεων σε φυσικούς χώρους και πειραματισμού με αληθινούς χρόνους ηχογράφησης, αξιοποιώντας μια εντυπωσιακή πληθώρα αναλογικών και ψηφιακών μουσικών οργάνων. Τα διαφορετικά ονόματα της κολεκτίβας (rhythmatik, dp2 aka monochrome, voltnoi, aka, quite noise, que tempo, paranormale, stmc, myrto belgrave, nektario, friends), είναι αυτά που σε κάθε εμφάνιση καθορίζουν τα όργανα και μέσα που θα χρησιμοποιηθούν.

History: | Οι Happy Dog Project δημιουργήθηκαν το καλοκαίρι του 2000 στην Αθήνα. Βασικός κορμός τότε και σήμερα έιναι οι Γιάννης Δημητριάδης (hammond organ, fender rhodes, keyboards, ακορντεόν, μελόντικα, samples/γκρίνια), Δημήτρης Καραχοντζίτης (ηλεκτρικές κιθάρες/effects master), Διονύσης Κασκούρας (ηλεκτρικό μπάσο/σταθερότης) και Βαγγέλης Κασβίκης (τύμπανα/groove master). Και αν ακούγεται τόσο εύκολο, δεν είναι... (αν δεν χτίσεις, δεν παντρέψεις και δεν κάνεις μπάντα, δεν καταλαβαίνεις πόσο δύσκολο είναι να συγκεντρωθούν τέσσερεις μεγάλοι άνθρωποι με κοινά χνώτα...).
Κοινός παρανομαστής τους και αναφορές τους για να ξεκινήσουν ήταν αγαπημένες μουσικές και συγκροτήματα, όπως οι: Beastie Boys (και ιδιαίτερα τα οργανικά τους κομμάτια), Medeski Martin & Wood (Θεοί!), John Scofield, Bill Laswell (studio guru), Cinematic Orchestra, Red Snapper, αλλά και η ελληνική/μεσογειακή μουσική παράδοση, με τα "μονά" μέτρα και την περίεργη ρυθμολογία, o κλαρινιτζής Πετρολούκας Χαλκιάς, ο Lilly Boniche ή οι ρώσσοι balkan-punksters Gogol Bordello και πολλοί άλλοι από πολλούς και διαφορετικούς χώρους που μοιάζουν ασύνδετοι, αλλά δεν είναι...
Μετά από τις πρώτες εμφανίσεις στο "Παράφωνο" και στο "Μικρό Μουσικό Θέατρο" ως κουαρτέτο, στις αρχές του 2001 στο συγκρότημα μπαίνει και ο Dj Marble (scratch/turntables-μικρό παιδί-θα μεγαλώσει).
Οι Happy Dog Project έχουν υπάρξει ανοιχτό γκρουπ πειραματισμού όλα αυτά τα χρόνια.

Comments: | Οι Mode Plagal, δημιούργησαν ένα ξεχωριστό μουσικό ιδίωμα χρησιμοποιώντας την τεχνοτροπία της jazz, με αναφορές όμως κατά κύριο λόγο στην ελληνική παραδοσιακή μουσική αλλά και σε βυζαντινούς ήχους, αφρικάνικους βαλκανικούς, funky, groovy, rock. Το 1990 που πρωτοεμφανίστηκαν ως συγκρότημα, έπαιζαν οι Θοδωρής Ρέλλος, Τάκης Κανέλλος, Κλέων Αντωνίου. Σήμερα, η αρχική συνθεσή του έχει εμπλουτιστεί. Έχουν συμμετάσχει σε πολλά φεστιβάλ σε Ελλάδα και εξωτερικό και δώσει πάρα πολλές συναυλίες.

History: | Ιδρύθηκαν το 1989 από τον ζωγράφο "Τζίμη", τον "Ποιητή", τον περιφερόμενο μουσικό "Γέρο - Μπίτνικ" (R.I.P.) και τον ιερωμένο "Κλούβιο". Στο δια ταύτα της ιδρυτικής τους διακήρυξης σημειώνουν: "ΓΙΑ ΝΑ ΜΗΝ ΤΡΕΛΑΘΕΙΣ ΜΕΙΝΕ ΤΡΕΛΟΣ", αφορισμός που μετουσιώνεται σε αλλοπαρμένα live όπου συμβαίνει ως επί το πλείστον το οτιδήποτε - οπουδήποτε.
Από την ίδρυση τους ως σήμερα (και το άπειρο) έχουνε παίξει, οργανώσει, συμμετάσχει, σε αναρίθμητα live, φεστιβάλ, εκθέσεις σε γκαλερί, καταλήψεις στέγης, και άλλα παρόμοια. Έχουν δε καταφέρει να συμπτύξουν όλα αυτά σε τρεις δίσκους: "Φέρτε τα" (?νθρωποι Στον Αέρα / Hitch Hike 1994), "Αεραλάνδη" (ΕΜΙ 1998), "Όλα Δικά Μας Είναι" (Olon Music 2002).

History: | Η «Εστουδιαντίνα» Ορχήστρα είναι η αναβίωση ενός τύπου ορχήστρας που έδρασε έντονα στα τέλη του 19ου αιώνα και στο πρώτο τέταρτο του 20ου διαδόθηκε στην Κωνσταντινούπολη και στη Σμύρνη και σταμάτησε να υπάρχει λίγο μετά την καταστροφή της. Έχουν καταγραφεί αριστουργήματα μουσικής και αυτά αποτελούν το αντικείμενο μελέτης και το περιεχόμενο των συναυλιών.
Είναι ορχήστρα Ελληνικής μουσικής και αποτελείται από νέους μουσικούς που παίζουν κυρίως νυκτά έγχορδα και ξύλινα πνευστά. Το ρεπερτόριό της είναι μουσική της Σμύρνης και της Κωνσταντινούπολης, των αστικών κέντρων της υπόδουλης και ελεύθερης Ελλάδας την εποχή της ακμής του ελληνισμού, της Αμερικής της μετανάστευσης πρώτης γενιάς και γενικότερα από το χώρο της Μικράς Ασίας, Προποντίδας, Βοσπόρου και Πόντου.
Ιδρύθηκε το 1999 και το 2003 πήρε νομική υπόσταση ως αστική μη κερδοσκοπική εταιρία με σκοπό την έρευνα και καταγραφή της μουσικής των Ελλήνων. Βασικός χορηγός της ορχήστρας που είναι τομέας του σωματίου είναι ο Πολιτιστικός Οργανισμός Δήμου Νέας Ιωνίας. Είναι η πρώτη φορά που μετά από 80 χρόνια δημιουργείται μια ορχήστρα τέτοιου είδους έχοντας όχι μόνο ως άξονα την προβολή του Σμυρναίικου τραγουδιού αλλά δημιουργώντας και προτείνοντας μουσικές φόρμες με νέα δομή.

History: | Η πρώτη εμφάνιση της Ορχήστρας των Χρωμάτων έγινε στην αίθουσα «Παλλάς» της Αθήνας, στις 23 Νοεμβρίου του 1989, υπό την διεύθυνση του ιδρυτή της, Μάνου Χατζιδάκι. Το πρόγραμμα περιελάμβανε έργα Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart και Brahms με σολίστ τη Ντόρα Μπακοπούλου.
Στους τέσσερις κύκλους συναυλιών που οργανώθηκαν από τον Νοέμβριο του 1989 έως τον Ιούνιο του 1993, ο Μάνος Χατζιδάκις περιέλαβε, εκτός από κλασικά έργα περισσότερο ή λιγότερο γνωστά, πολλά άγνωστα στην Ελλάδα έργα συνθετών του 20ου αιώνα -Copland, Menotti, Poulenc, Milhaud, Ohana, Hindemith, Nielsen, Ives, Britten, Thomson, Szymanowski, Kurt Weill, Piazzolla, Rota, κ.ά. Έντονη παρουσία είχε και η ελληνική μουσική (Πετρίδης, Βάρβογλης, Παλλάντιος, Ξενάκης, Σισιλιάνος, Μαμαγκάκης, Αντωνίου, Κουρουπός), χωρίς να λείψουν και οι νεώτεροι δημιουργοί (Ανισέγκος, Κριτσωτάκης). Ειδικά αφιερώματα έγιναν στον Μανώλη Καλομοίρη, τον Νίκο Σκαλκώτα, τον Γιάννη Χρήστου και τον Μίκη Θεοδωράκη.

Information: | Aπό το 1997 έχουν πραγματοποιήσει εμφανίσεις σε όλους τους χώρους της Aθήνας που φιλοξενούν Ethnik μουσικές (Αν Club, Αέρας, Φωνές, Palenque, Xαμάμ...κα). Επίσης έχουν διοργανώσει αλλά και συμμετάσχει σε πολλές συναυλίες και Beach partys σε πόλεις ανά την Eλλάδα (Δήμος Πειραιά, Αισχύλεια Ελευσίνα, Φεστιβάλ Κρουστών Λευκάδας, Τεχνόπολις στο Γκάζι, Nαύπακτος, Φεστιβαλ Κρούσης -Θέατρο Πέτρας κα..)

Comments: | Το ρεπερτόριο του έχει δύο πηγές έμπνευσης: - τους ρυθμούς και τα τραγούδια της Δυτικής Αφρικής με κρουστά ( Djembe,Doundouns) και έγχορδα ( Ngoni ) - και το Ελληνικό και Βαλκανικό ρεπερτόριο γιά Γκάιντες συνοδευμένο απο παραδοσιακά κρουστά (νταούλια, Νταχαρέδες, τουμπελέκια..).( Κάποιες μάλιστα Θεματικές συναυλίες τους είναι αφιερωμένες αποκλειστικά σ' αυτά, στην αυθεντική τους μορφή.)

History: | Το μουσικό σχήμα "Έκληψις" είναι επαγγελματικό φωνητικό σύνολο και ιδρύθηκε το Νοέμβριο του 2000 από τον μαέστρο του Ματθαίο Λεγάκη, την Μυρτώ Ακρίβου και τον Σωτήρη Σαραντάκο. Άρχισε να λειτουργεί με τη σημερινή σύνθεσή του από τον Ιούνιο του 2001. Αποτελείται από οκτώ μέλη, τέσσερις γυναικείες και τέσσερις αντρικές φωνές. Κατά περίπτωση συνοδεύεται από πιάνο ή άλλα όργανα. Στόχος του συνόλου είναι η ανάδειξη, μέσω της φωνητικής τέχνης, της μουσικής του 20ου & 21ου αι. σε όλο το φάσμα της, όπως σε έργα σύγχρονων ελλήνων και ξένων συνθετών, διασκευών Jazz και Pop, μιούζικαλ, μουσική κινηματογράφου κ.α.

History: | Το συγκρότημα ΧΑΙΝΗΔΕΣ ξεκίνησε δειλά -δειλά το Μάρτη του '90 με μια παρουσίαση στη «Λέσχη» Ηρακλείου σαν τριμελές σχήμα. Το σχήμα γρήγορα γίνεται επταμελές και διαγράφει μια πορεία με συναυλίες στην Κρήτη και μια στην Αθήνα, μέχρι το Γενάρη του '91 όπου και διαλύεται. Από αυτό το σχήμα οι Αποστολάκης Δημήτρης και Ζαχαριουδάκης Δημήτρης που συμμετείχαν στο πρώτο τριμελές, ο Μιχάλης Σταυρακάκης ο οποίος εντάχθηκε το 1992 στο συγκρότημα, η Μαρία Κώτη, ο Αλέξης Νόνης και ο Αντώνης Σκαμνάκης αποτελούν τους ΧΑΙΝΗΔΕΣ με τη σημερινή τους μορφή.
