History: | Το 1991 το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο του Δημοτικού Ωδείου Πατρών αποφάσισε τη δημιουργία Ορχήστρας Εγχόρδων με την ονομασία "Οι Σολίστ της Πάτρας" και την ανάθεση της μουσικής διεύθυνσης στον μαέστρο Δημήτρη Μποτίνη.Το 1999 αποφασίσθηκε η ανάθεση της Διεύθυνσης της Ορχήστρας στον διακεκριμένο μαέστρο SAULIUS SONDECKIS, καθώς επίσης και η μετονομασία αυτής σε ΟΡΧΗΣΤΡΑ ΠΑΤΡΩΝ (Hellas - Orchestra of Patras).
